Introduction to Hyundai Pharmaceutical, Inc Manufacturing Facilities

Hyundai Pharm. has constructed G.M.P. certified manufacturing plant in Cheon-Ahn in 1985 working diligently to improve public health by manufacturing highest quality medical products. Hyundai Pharm. Manufacturing Department has worked endlessly to improve the product quality and provide safe and enjoyable atmosphere for highest quality product manufacturing to its employees working at the plant.

With these endless efforts, in 2003, Hyundai Pharm. has achieved OHSAS 18001 certification (Safe Health Management System) from Britain's BSI. Also, the same year, Hyundai was rewarded by Korean government Department of Labor's highest honor for Safe Management. Continuous effort of product improvement has given Hyundai nation's highest Safe Management award in 2005 by receiving Presidential Award.

In 2005, Manufacturing plants have incorporated Oracle's Information System to all manufacturing modules to standardize the production management. At the same time LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) was incorporated to certify the production procedures from ingredient preparation to pre-manufacturing to after-manufacturing to provide highest quality products possible.

Quality Control

(1) Structure

Divided into material test part, product test part, precision instrument part and microbiological test part, we process our test in a professional and precise manner. Each tester goes under routine education and qualification program to be able to execute accurate tests in all times.


(2) Introduction

We carry out tests regarding ingredients, subsidiary materials, half-finished goods, products, return goods, stability and customer claims of the medicine and food. Through standardization of test standards and test methods, we manage to minimize the test errors. All machines used in tests are validated on regular basis for precise test results. We continuously work on improvements to have faster and more accurate test results.
































































Quality Assurance

(1) Structure

Constituted to carry out SOP, change control, complaints, deviation, validation, product stability, IPC and sampling.


(2) Introduction

GMP system for medicines and ISO system for foods, we give out shipping approval only after thorough examination process starting from warehousing of ingredients. Ingredients go through sampling, approval, process examination, product approval and production documents examination to have shipping approval as end products.
To produce medicines and foods guaranteed to be effective, safe and stable, we inspect and improve the whole process of production and examination process.
Introducing ERP and LIMS(Laboratory Information Management System) to our system, we became able to share clean and accurate test results.
Also, going under quality inspections on regular basis from leading pharmaceutical companies such as AstraZeneca, we try to produce products fit into global standards.
